Join us in getting ready for Spring planting of some of the first Salish Seed grow out beds. We would love some extra hands to get things ready for planting! We will work outdoors in small groups and wear masks if in close quarters.
RSVP (see below) is preferred, so that we can manage our numbers for COVID safety and provide you with any updates in case of changes.
Today’s Projects Include:
- Weeding and forking up established beds to get ready for our early plantings.
- Planting seeds and transplanting for some of our earlier crops. Watering existing plants.
- Mulching pathways and removing mulch from some of our earlier-planted crops to help warm the soil and reduced slug pressure.
- Forming up new raised beds to align with the contour of the land.
Hope you can join us as activities in the seed garden start to ramp up!
